I thought my reader might like this picture of my home town ship HMS Rhyl.
It turned up on a military group I am in. The picture was submitted by a former Russian navy officer who is sharing pictures he took of Royal Navy ships during his time in service.

Following my post, Brian Hughes kindly posted this picture of the earlier HMS Rhyl, a Bangor Class Minesweeper of the Second World War. Just seeing it reminded me of the films In Which We Serve and The Cruel Sea which used to be regular Sunday afternoon viewing in the sixties!
